At Old Mission Santa Barbara visitors can explore the museum, mausoleum, retreat center and church all in one trip. Built in 1786, the Santa Barbara Mission is one historic Santa Barbara attraction that shouldn’t be left unvisited. It is a parish church of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and the only mission that still remains under the leadership of Franciscan Friars.
